Shark Rescue is making a real difference in Shark Protection. These are some of the ways we're making an impact.
- Shark Rescue and a representative from the World Wildlife Fund - Hong Kong met with the editor at Time Out magazine. Through its editorial policy, the magazine actively condoned and endorsed the threatening of sharks.
We now have an understanding in principle that Time Out will no longer publish reviews and articles that endorse the eating of shark and other species that are endangered, such as bluefin tuna. Read more...
- We spearheaded a campaign to get Best Bully dog chews to stop selling thresher shark spines. The company should be commended for being open to our conservation message, and for no longer ordering for resale the thresher shark products.
